The Meadows at Lawrence recently opened its Journeys Memory Care neighborhood, a specialized program for individuals with memory impairments. Led by Dr. Priti S. Gujar, the program focuses on comprehensive, person-centered care, supporting residents’ physical, emotional, cognitive, and social needs. The facility features a secure, home-like environment with dementia-friendly décor, life enrichment programs, and services such as psychology, psychiatry, and cognitive therapies. Marquis Health Consulting Services, which supports The Meadows, designed the Journeys program to meet rigorous standards in care, staff training, and resident support.
